Complaints and Appeals

The Polaris Global Journal of Scholarly Research and Trends (PGJSRT) accepts legitimate complaints and editorial appeals concerning:

• Editorial procedures
• Peer review
• Publication ethics
• Research integrity
• Journal conduct
• Published material
• Administrative processes

EDITORIAL APPEALS

Authors may appeal an editorial decision where they believe that a significant factual misunderstanding, procedural failure, or demonstrable assessment error materially affected the editorial decision.

An appeal must:

• Identify the manuscript
• Identify the editorial decision being appealed
• Explain the specific factual or procedural grounds for appeal
• Provide relevant evidence

An appeal is not simply an opportunity to request another review because an author disagrees with an editorial decision.

APPEAL ASSESSMENT

Where reasonably possible, an appeal should be assessed by an editor who was not responsible for the original decision.

Additional peer review may be requested where necessary, but is not automatically required.

COMPLAINTS

Complaints concerning journal staff, editors, reviewers, policies, procedures, or published material should provide sufficient information to permit investigation.

COMPLAINTS CONCERNING THE EDITOR-IN-CHIEF

Where a complaint directly concerns the Editor-in-Chief, the matter should be referred to an appropriate independent senior editor or publisher representative who was not directly involved in the matter.

CONFIDENTIALITY

PGJSRT will handle complaints and appeals fairly, respectfully, objectively, and as confidentially as reasonably possible.

NO RETALIATION

Authors, reviewers, editors, or other individuals raising legitimate concerns in good faith should not be subjected to retaliation.

FINAL OUTCOME

The journal will communicate the outcome of an appeal or complaint after appropriate assessment.

Where a complaint identifies a genuine error or research-integrity concern, PGJSRT will take appropriate corrective action.
